A pass-through dishwasher that has undergone a total overhaul. The X5 Granule combines potwashing and dishwashing.

The NEW X5 Granule model offers the best in performance and flexibility for passthrough dishwashers.

The introduction of X5 Granule marks the start of a new era in Granule ware washing. We have revised and reworked all systems in our hood machine for combined pot and dishwashing. Throughout the design process, the user experience and overall sustainability of the product has guided our efforts. We have also put a lot of effort into the study of how water behaves with and without granules, so that we may bring the best possible product to the market.

High versatility for small to medium cook and serve kitchens

The X5 Granule combines the award-winning efficient Granule Technology for pots, pans, and utensils with traditional dishwashing techniques for plates, cutlery, and most types of crockery. 

 

It is a commercial passthrough dishwasher for operations that cook and serve from 200 up to 1,800 meals per day. Depending on the daily wash volume, you can use X5 Granule for all your wash needs - pots as well as plates, glasses, and cutlery. Or you can use it as a pot washer, that handles the occasional crockery basket or even doubles as a dishwasher during low season and you don't have to run your regular dishwasher.

Energy optimization with GD Link

GD Link is an energy optimization feature that can be fitted to all our granule-based ware washers and allows for the machine to communicate with systems that are based on the DIN 18875 standard.

GD Link enables connecting and controlling the machine through a central energy optimization unit, which helps to avoid any production disruptions in individual devices as the shutdown periods are computer-controlled and automatically reduced to a minimum. It also eliminates the instantaneous energy peaks that can happen when multiple types of equipment run simultaneously.

With the machine connected to an energy optimization system, you will minimize the overall peak load and at the same time minimize disruptions. GD link is possible to retrofit on all granule-based models dating back to 2015.

Ergonomic design and automatic hood

Automatic hood motion eliminates the otherwise repetitive task of opening and closing the machine between washes. The Kick'n Wash footpedal makes it even easier to start a wash program. The external control panel is placed to be easy to reach whether the hood is opened or closed. The machine's interior has been designed to create as little resistance as possible so that the basket will effortlessly slide from the table and into the machine with only a gentle push. These are some of the ways Nor:disk products are designed with ergonomy and the user in focus.

Integrate with tabling

X5 Granule is a pass-through dishwasher, designed to be installed in a table configuration. In combination with the tables, it creates a fluent and smooth washing up area, that naturally separates clean and dirty items - a welcomed side effect that not only provides for a good hygiene procedure but also helps avoid cross-contamination in the pot washing area.
